Flavor-changing radiativeB decays

We calculate the exclusive rate forB→K ^* (890)γ andB→K ^** (1400)γ arising from the quark subprocessb→sγ. These provide a good test of the standard model because they probe the flavor changing loop enhanced by QCD corrections. We have used relativised constituent quark model to evaluate the different form factors and estimate the recoil effects.     

Reply to the comment on the energy variation method

The assertion that the energy variation theorem for excited states follows from the classical minmax principle is further reinforced. The problem of minimizing the manifold energy in the non-orthogonal basis is also solved.     

On discrete and continuous wirtinger inequalities

We shall present several generalizations of discrete Wirtinger's inequality, and establish their continuous analogs.     

Analyticity of functions analytic on circles

Let Δ be the open unit disc in, let pbΔ, and let f be a continuous function on which extends holomorphically from each circle in centered at the origin and from each circle in which passes through p. Then f is holomorphic on Δ.     

Means for Divided Differences and Exponential Convexity

In this paper we obtain two means for divide differences using two majorization type results where one is related with Schur convexity. We examine their monotonicity property using exponentially convex functions.     

Holomorphic functions which are highly nonintegrable at the boundary

Given a bounded convex domainD in ℂ^N with smooth boundary and a positive continuous function ϕ ond, it is proved that there is a holomorphic functionf onD such that |f|ϕ is nonintegrable onM∩D wheneverM is a real submanifold of a neighbourhood of a point ofbD which intersectsbD transversely.
